If you have a great idea for a class that would engage our homeschool students, we’d love to hear it! We are always looking for new instructors and creative class ideas that meet the needs and interests of our families. Before submitting, please take the time to thoroughly read the information below.
Why Teach at HOP? Teaching at HOP is a joyful experience! Our students are curious and enthusiastic, and our parents are supportive and involved. Teachers also receive: priority registration for their children, exemption from the general volunteer requirement, and a warm, fun, and encouraging teaching environment
Your Commitment By submitting a class, you’re committing to teach it if it meets the minimum registration. Please don’t submit unless you're fully committed!
Expectations To ensure a smooth experience, all teachers must:
Attend or watch recorded Zoom meeting (Send an email to us for a copy!)
Follow our respectful classroom policies (no punitive systems, kindness and punctuality required)
Attend all 12 weeks (and supply a substitute plan for absences)
Notify the Planning Team by email ASAP if a class must be missed
Supervise their own children or make arrangements for during class
Attend the Meet and Greet (8/6) event before registration—this is mandatory
